Designed to perform:
GS Clamshell
The true clamshell box is used for superior trapping and sizing of bulky material. The cylinder mount geometry allows from greater mechanical advantage. The result is higher side compression forces on the material.
Heavy Duty Frame
The GS frame construction is considerably heavier than comparable machines. The heavier frame adds to longevity and reduces the possibility of problems associated with shearing thick materials.
Harris Shear Blade
The shear blade has a 12 degree cutting angle improving shearing efficiency. The shear blades are through bolted for easier replacement and the shear blade has external guide adjustments. It is much easier and faster to make adjustments reducing down time.
Power to Spare
Harris GS Series Shear/Logger/Baler offers the highest baling PSI for other balers of this type. The extra power provides higher bale density.
Easily Maintain, Easily Service
Besides the external gib & guide adjustment, the GS BLS was designed with replaceable liner plates. The plates can be replaced renewing the machine and increasing the overall lifespan.

Superior Performance
The Harris GS series offers superiority by utilizing 100HP motors, horizontal mounted pumps, and an independent load table, which allows for more visual inspection of material by the operator when the load is dumped into the charging box. Harris incorporates a simple to use OIT (operators interface terminal) control panel with basic commands, operational information and diagnostics. Production reporting is also included.
Harris has always utilized “regenerative circuits” on large cylinder flows. Harris also has a TRUE clamshell box for superior trapping and sizing of bulky material. Harris is manufactured in the US using US components and tested at the factory prior to shipment. Service and parts supported by Harris’ well trained staff of service technicians and support personnel.
