TG Ferrous Baler | Ferrous Baler
The TG ferrous metal baler is a standout for heavy-duty, high-production, reliable baling systems. The TG baler utilizes a three compression baling system to produce numerous bale sizes to meet market requirements.
Does size and strength matter?
The Harris TG baler is a large capacity, three compression baler meant to handle the toughest ferrous metals. The charge box and baling chamber are reinforced to withstand the toughest baling applications in the scrap metal industry.
Efficient Use of Time
The TG baler is designed with an independent loading hopper that enables separate loading of material while the baler is cycling. Keeping wait time down is essential to an efficient and productive operation.

PRODUCT DETAILS:
The TG line of ferrous balers is the industry standard for heavy-duty, high production, reliable baling systems.
TG Balers compress material into the charging box with a massive lid and utilizes a three compression baling system to produce a bale.

Product Features:
- Independent Loading Hopper – large capacity loading hopper allows independent loading of the next charge while baler is cycling.
- Large Capacity Charging Box – charging box capacities of 625 to 950 cu. ft. (17.6 m3 to 26.9 m3) allows a single charge of high volume light material as well as large bulky items.
- Heavy Duty Structure – withstands the toughest baling applications in the industry. This results in less downtime and an extremely long operating life. Baler models weigh between 146 to 438 tons (132.4 to 397.3 tonne).
- Solid State Controls provide greater reliability and simplifies operation.
- Programmable Controller with Modem allows more precise operation of the baler with diagnostic support from the Harris Service Facility.
- OIT (operator interface terminal) located on Operator’s Control Station allows the Operator to run diagnostics on the baler from the operator’s station and provides the Operator with the ability to program certain parts of the operating sequence.
- High/Low Pressure Hydraulic System – uses high pressure for efficient application of force and low pressure for greater speed.
- Hydraulic Vane Pumps – less expensive to maintain and replace than Piston Pumps.
- Harris Manufactured Hydraulic Cylinders – flame hardened and polished rods with TFE pistons are recognized as the best in the industry. They provide long life with a minimum of maintenance.
- Flame hardened cylinder rods with no chrome to scratch or chip.
